June 12 is Russia's newest holiday, Independence Day, which commemorates the adoption in 1991 of the Declaration of Sovereignty of the Russian Federation.
June 12 is Independence Day. It's an official holiday. They spend this day on their dachas which is a small wooden houses in countryside where we plant some vegetables, enjoy nature and live simple life being close to nature.
